First Overview of Sumo Robot Battle

Welcome to the intricate world of Sumo Robot Battle!

Gameplay Overview:

The gameplay is structured into stages, with the first three focusing on pushing a block off the arena. Subsequent stages introduce diverse objectives, such as battling another Sumo robot, ejecting a single or multiple blocks. Each stage is divided into two phases: the robot preparation phase, where you can freely edit your robot, and the battle phase, where changes made during the robot editing and programming sections take effect post-battle.

Starting with a Tutorial:

The gameplay begins with a short tutorial where players must move the robot to the appropriate position and then proceed to the robot editing section.

In the robot editing section, you'll upgrade your robot to increase its element limit. Start by purchasing a distance sensor and place it on the robot by dragging its icon onto the 2D robot visualization. This element will appear in the same position for the 3D robot and will be considered during battles.

Currently, robots can have reflective sensors for detecting the arena boundary lines, distance sensors for detecting opponents, and motor wheels for robot movement. Continuously purchasing and upgrading robot elements is crucial for victory, as will be explained in subsequent posts.

The next part of the tutorial involves moving on to the robot programming section, where players drag and drop blocks such as "while," "if," "Set power Motor," and "Sensor" onto the starting event block. The robot moves according to the code created from the blocks. Further descriptions of robot programming will be available in subsequent posts.

Stay tuned for a thrilling journey of robot customization, strategic programming, and intense battles in the Sumo Robot Battle universe!
